About Ringwood Chiropractor Dr.Tim Paynter

Extensive Experience in Health and Fitness

Tim Paynter is a seasoned chiropractor with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness field. His journey began with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, during which he worked as a personal trainer. This hands-on experience, coupled with his academic pursuits, sparked his interest in treating and managing chronic pain.

Academic Excellence and Expertise

After completing his degree, Tim pursued an honours study focused on chronic low back pain, further deepening his curiosity. This passion led him to obtain a Master’s degree in Chiropractic, where he discovered a keen interest in clinical neuroscience. To advance his expertise, he studied Clinical Neuroscience with the Carrick Institute and successfully passed the American Chiropractic Neurology Board exam after two years of rigorous training.

Ongoing Professional Development

For the past eight years, Tim has continuously honed his skills in chiropractic care, rehabilitation, and neuroscience. He has undertaken additional training through the Brandon Brock Courses and FNOR (Functional Neuro Orthopaedic Rehabilitation) modules.

Diverse Patient Care

Tim’s extensive career includes working with a diverse patient base. He has significant experience managing chronic and severe arthritis, balance disorders, and providing care for patients with joint replacements. Additionally, he treats active and athletic individuals dealing with acute and chronic injuries, including concussions and whiplash.

Holistic Chiropractic Approach

Tim’s approach to chiropractic care is holistic, blending traditional techniques with low-force methods, dry needling, and rehabilitation. He prioritises pain management, guides patients through rehabilitation, and empowers them with tools for self-management.
