Counselling Service Terms and Conditions

Counselling service at Almond Wellness Centre operates within Australian legal requirements and Standards for Privacy and Information Management. The online intake form is intended to safeguard access and use of your information. There is no private use of any of your personal information.

Your personal information is kept confidential. We will not share your information with any other organisation without your express permission, except where we are required to do so under law. This may apply in circumstances where we have a ‘duty of care’; that is when you are at serious risk of harming yourself, harming someone else or there is a child protection concern. Confidentiality is an essential part of all counselling services. Almond Wellness Centre holds all records and personal contact details securely and will ensure confidentiality in the treatment of any information held about its clients, in line with the Code of Ethics of the ACA. All information recorded and held is solely for the purpose of maintaining effective therapeutic treatment.

We expect ourselves and our clients obey at all times act in an appropriate, non-offensive or contrary to any applicable laws or standards.

Almond Wellness Centre may, at any time and without notice to you, access, filter, remove, amend or refuse to release files, content or other material which it considers in its sole discretion to be a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation can be made during our office hours by calling our clinic to cancel or reschedule, however, please provide us a 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee for $60.
